Angela Howard joined the department of health outcomes and biomedical informatics with the UF College of Medicine in August 2018 as a patient advisor for the ROSE project. She’s been a part of the Citizen Scientist program since December 2018, where she serves on the Learning Health Systems committee. She has collaborated on a number of studies and attended various research events, including the “un-meeting on rural health and health equity.” In August 2021, Angela was named as a co-author for the article “Implementation context for addressing social needs in a learning health system: a qualitative study,” published in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science.
